Laide Bakare faces criticism for her remarks on the birthday post of Portable

Following her response to singer Portable's birthday message, Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has seen a great deal of abuse.

The artist, who is well-known for his contentious demeanor, celebrated turning 30 by posting pictures of himself on his Instagram page looking like Agbada.

He thanked life, personal development, and individuality in his post and wished for a year full of love, happiness, and special experiences.

"Happy birthday to myself! I honor the gift of life, the path of personal development, and the beauty of being wholly me on this memorable day. I hope that this year is full of joy, love, and the most delightful experiences life has to give. Ogo Tun Tun was sent by Zazuu God.

After reading the article, Laide Bakare—who had earlier expressed disapproval of Portable in a laughing emoji in a comment during an interview.

Many people were outraged by her response, and she received a lot of criticism.

Tunaz Kid, one of the commenters, questioned why she was the target of such abuse.
