Judge Tanze Makama of the Nasarawa High Court Passes Away Two Months After Appointment

On December 29, 2023, Makama was appointed to the Nasarawa State High Court of Justice. Tuesday was his death day.

The recently appointed judge of the Nasarawa State High Court of Justice, Justice Tanze Benjamin Makama, passed away.


On December 29, 2023, Makama was appointed to the Nasarawa State High Court of Justice. Tuesday was his death day. The late judge's family, Justice Aisha Bashir-Aliyu, the Chief Judge of Nasarawa State, and the whole judiciary received condolences from Nuhu J. Egya, the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Keffi branch, in a statement. It was discovered that Justice Makama had been suffering from an unidentified illness.


Former chairman of the NBA's Lafia section was Justice Makama.
