EXPOSED: Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi, is planning to go to a country in North Africa in order to reunite with his wife and make investments.

Multiple sources verified to timbloggist/timiyandasblog on Saturday that Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State on the run, had devised a plan to escape the nation to a country in North Africa.

According to information obtained by timbloggist/timiyandasblog Bello, 48, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for defrauding people out of over N80 billion. He intends to escape to the nation in North Africa where one of his wives now resides and oversees their "investments."

A family member went on to say that Bello actually held two passports: one from an Arab country and one from a country in North Africa, where he is also said to have multimillion dollar interests.

"He intends to travel to Morocco. Additionally, he possesses holdings in Dubai. Other than Okene local government and possibly two or three local governments within his senatorial constituency, which benefit from projects like hospitals with fifty beds each, no other local government benefits from Bello's administration, the source disclosed.


"We challenge his media team to identify, with the exception of housing estates built by his predecessor and notable properties, every single borehole for water, road project, or housing scheme construction work done by Yahaya Bello administration in the last eight years in the remaining 16 local governments.


"Kogi State was enslaved under Yahaya Bello due to occultic powers and unreported killings due to fear," a different source stated.

Prior to this, timbloggist/timiyandasblog had reported that Bello's aide-de-camp, a female police officer, and other security personnel had been arrested by the Nigerian police for helping him elude EFCC agents in Abuja.

The 48-year-old Bello's assigned police officers and the ADC were both taken into custody and are currently being held at the Federal Capital Territory's State Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja.

Following an order issued by Inspector General of Police Olukayode Egbetokun on Thursday night mandating their immediate evacuation from the former, they were arrested and taken into custody.
