Bobrisky is asked, "Who advised you to plead guilty?" by Aisha Yesufu.

Popular social activist Aisha Yesufu has accused well-known transvestite Bobrisky of committing naira mutilation after he entered a guilty plea.

Judge Abimbola Awogboro sentenced the defendant to six months in prison without the possibility of a fine on Friday.

Since his detention last week, the controversial celebrity has been under the care of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC.

Bobrisky was detained and charged with naira mutilation by the EFCC.

Bobrisky had earlier on April 5 entered a guilty plea to a four-count anti-graft agency accusation of naira abuse.

Who suggested that he enter a guilty plea? In a piece on X, Aisha poses questions.

"How is sprinkling money the same as disfiguring money? In the event that it is and why is it utilized selectively if it's a crime?

Indeed, I would have. In the worst situation, I would ask him to enter a "No Contest" plea. Anything further, Oga attorney?

"What does politicians tossing money at people mean, if spraying money is mutilation?

How are money-spraying and mutilation similar? Did Bobrisky grab a pair of scissors and begin tearing apart the NAIRA?

It's like we live in a jungle where anything goes because some individuals find it offensive to their morality.

"If Bobrisky has committed crimes, prosecute him for those offenses rather than these targeted prosecutions."

SWAN: Team Nigeria's appalling performance at the Paris Olympics is unacceptable.

The performance of Team Nigeria in the 2024 Olympic Games has been characterized as significantly below expectations by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). Through the Secretary-General of the Association, Amb. Ikenna Okonkwo, SWAN President Mr. Isaiah Benjamin issued a statement stating that Nigeria's failure to return from the recently concluded Olympics with a medal was unacceptable. The Association blamed the country's enormous failure in Paris on administrative incompetence and ignorance, which became evident when the name of Favour Ofili, a highly regarded track and field athlete from Nigeria, was discovered to be missing from the list of competitors for the 100-meter event. After the Games, SWAN questioned why there were so many claims of medal hauls that administered by the sports authorities despite their full knowledge that nothing, not even the amount of preparation necessary to ensure a podium finish, was in place. Nigerians were led to believe that ev...
