THE FIRST FEMALE VICE CHANCELLOR NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY KEFFI (NSUK) SAADATU HAS SAN LIMAN

The First Female Vice-Chancellor of NSUK Assumes Leadership Role and Commits To Increasing University Competitiveness. Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, the first female vice chancellor of Nasarawa State University in Keffi, has promised to lead the university in becoming a preeminent player in the league of regional, national, and continental universities offering functional education and vocational entrepreneurship. During Monday, April 22, 2024, at the University's Senate Chamber, during the handing over and taking over ceremony, Professor Sa'adatu made the commitment. The Vice-Chancellor declared that her mission's ultimate objective is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and drive to effect change for the betterment of society, humanity, and the restoration of human dignity via tenaciously pursuing leadership The First Female Vice-Chancellor of NSUK Assumes Leadership Role and Commits To Increasing University Competitiveness.

 The Ultimate objective is to equip    students with the knowledge, skills, and drive to effect change for the betterment of society, humanity, and the restoration of human dignity via tenaciously pursuing leadership institutional efficacy and run metrics and performance-driven university governance and management systems. Professor Sa'adatu declared that she would work to broaden the University's academic offerings during her term by implementing new courses and programs. She claimed this was done to make the University competitive with other universities. Regarding security, the Vice-Chancellor stated that she will work to strengthen her relationships with law enforcement, the leadership of host communities, and other pertinent parties in order to provide sufficient protection for people's lives and property on campus and in the surrounding areas. She also promised to treat all university employees and students with the utmost hospitality. Professor Sa'adatu further suggested that steps will be taken to improve institutional efficacy and run metrics-and performance-driven university governance and management systems. Professor Sa'adatu declared that she would work to broaden the University's academic offerings during her term by implementing new courses and programs. She claimed this was done to make the University competitive with other universities.

The Vice-Chancellor was chosen through a technical, credible, and transparent process, according to Registrar and Secretary of the University Governing Council Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II. He noted that 26 applicants responded to the advertisement, 17 were shortlisted, and Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman was the winner of the interview, which was held on April 3 and 4, 2024.

 The presentation of notes from the Acting Vice-Chancellor to the New Vice-Chancellor was the highlight of the handover ceremony.
