Davido Says He's Going To "Retire" From Music

David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian Afrobeats artist who has announced he will be retiring from music after his upcoming album.

The rapper responded to recent photos and videos that some bloggers had doctored against him by posting a mysterious message on social media on Thursday night.

asserted that there were individuals who fervently wanted him to leave the music business.


"Do you guys really want me to quit this game so badly? Yeah, I won't do it after the next record. So una fit obtain peace," he posted on Twitter's previous X handle.

Davido recently said that since entering the profession, the majority of his colleagues haven't been able to enjoy mental tranquility.
