In honor of the Sallah holiday, former president Olusegun Obasanjo paid a visit to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, yesterday.
The former president came on the visit to celebrate with the president's wife in Lagos, according to the First Lady's spokesperson, Busola Kukoyi, who made this announcement on her X handle accompanied with a picture of both leaders.
"Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, after receiving the former President who came felicitating on the Sallah celebration on Monday, June 17," the author wrote.
On May 27, Obasanjo criticised the Tinubu administration for the inadequate execution of the fuel removal Subsidies and the naira's floating have made things more difficult for Nigerians, both individuals and businesses, over the past year.
The previous president had stated that even if the policies were required, they were carried out incorrectly.
In a statement released by Kehinde Akinyemi, his Special Assistant on Media, Obasanjo also denounced Nigeria's response to the coup in the Republic of Niger, which strained relations between the two nations.
