President Federation Cup: Grand Finale to Be Held at MKO Abiola National Stadium June 29

On Saturday, June 29, at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, the President Federation Cup men's and women's competitions will conclude with a grand finale.

The date was decided upon by the NFF and GTI, according to NFF General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, because Nigeria has until Sunday, June 30 at midnight to submit the names of its representative clubs for the upcoming continental club competitions to the Confederation of African Football.

"Having carefully examined our programs, the current state of the men's and women's competitions, and the necessity of submitting the names of all of our representative clubs to CAF for We, along with GTI, have decided that the President Federation Cup men's and women's finals grand finale will occur on Saturday, June 29, for the upcoming African Club Competitions season.

The MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja serves as the site. As has been the custom for many years, the men's final will start at 4 p.m. and the women's final at 1 p.m. The NFF and GTI are dedicated to producing an outstanding grand finale performance this year.

On Wednesday, June 19, Benin City, Asaba, and Enugu will serve as the host cities for the women's competition quarterfinals.

On Thursday, June 20th, Abuja and Lafia will compete in the men's tournament semifinals as places of hostage.

Intense Battles in the Women's Final Eight

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the Nasarawa Amazons take on Remo Stars Ladies in what is sure to be one of the most combustible matchups of the women's competition quarterfinals.

The ladies from Ikenne have been vying for titles this season, just like their men's club (Remo Stars FC), who will conclude the NPFL season on Sunday. The men's squad is also strongly vying for a position in the CAF Champions League.
