"A Very Magnificent Ability Is Gone," Louis Odion laments Onyeka Onwenu

In a brief email to TIMBLOGGIST on Wednesday, Odion stated that the "Princess of Songs" initiative aimed to promote national unification across dividing lines.

A very exceptional talent leaves. She did, in fact, personify a major trend in Nigerian art of the 1980s and 1990s with her extensive body of work spanning music, film, and writing: she was intelligent, free, aggressive, and unrelenting.

"A movement that aimed to promote national unification despite differences. Her masterpiece, ONE LOVE, captures that fierce passion. Regretfully, after she changed, that clan is now all but extinct. He said, "Adieu, Princess of Songs."
