President Bola Tinubu signed the revised National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Bill 2024 into law. LEADERSHIP says that the new law would be reviewed every three years. President Tinubu signed the Bill midway through Monday's Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting. Senate President Godswill Akpabio led the National Assembly leaders to the bill signing event. The federal government and organized labor agreed to set a new national minimum wage of ₦70,000. As a result, the president referred the bill to the National Assembly, where it was quickly passed last week. Ad The Federation's Head of Service, Dr. Yemi Folade-Esan, said the new law will surely reassure workers that the president is concerned about their well-being. President Tinubu praised the National Assembly for expecting the hasenning of the passage of the legislation
