Nigerians have been urged by President Bola Tinubu to postpone their scheduled "EndBadGovernance" demonstration for the following month.
Following a meeting with the President on Tuesday , Information Minister Mohammed Idris addressed a few State House media. He stated that Tinubu had advised the protest organizers to put the plan on hold and wait for the President to address their concerns.
Regarding the planned protest, Mr. President believes it is unnecessary. He has urged them to put that idea on hold.
The minister stated , "He's asked them to wait for the government's response to all their pleas." All of the Federation's states as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, are expected to participate in the protest against economic hardship that is gaining popularity on social media in August.
The protest's organizers have chosen to remain anonymous.
