Seun Okinbaloye of Channels TV Is Not Fired, Says Kperogi

The well-known anchor for Channels TV, Seun Okinbaloye, has not been let go from the organization, despite a lot of false information circulating on social media.

Farooq Kperogi, a well-known newspaper writer and mass communication lecturer, provided this explanation after speaking with Okinbaloye directly.

Kperogi claimed to have had an exclusive interview on Saturday morning with the TV anchor, who verified that he is still employed by Channels TV and is now on vacation in the United States.

"The whole story is fake news," the well-known broadcaster was cited by him as saying.
This development dispels the rumors that Okinbaloye had been fired by the television station, which has been going around the internet ever since.
