Nigeria Will Experience Stability, Peace, and According to Daniel Olukoya,

General overseer of the church, the 35th anniversary celebration will go off on Friday with participation from the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.

The church's leadership and members have both thought about the event's potential effects on both the larger community and individual lives in advance of it.

They reaffirmed their pledge to keep praying for Nigeria, other nations, and the expansion of God's kingdom on earth.

According to Olukoya, the 35th anniversary convention and thanksgiving would have the theme "Power from on High" and take place on Friday, August 16, through Sunday, August 18, 2024.

The MFM Prayer City, located at Kilometre 12 on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, will host the event.

The chief overseer stated Because of the prayers that will be said for Nigeria, the anniversary will surely have a big good effect on the nation.

... during the last thirty years, God's might has shown itself in countless ways that the entire world has witnessed.

The distinguished clergyman stated that all of these call for a celebration for the church and its adherents worldwide to express gratitude to God and to pray for God's ongoing blessings in the future.

When Olukoya was employed at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research in Yaba, a prayer gathering consisting of twenty-four persons was arranged in his living room in 1989, marking the start of the MFM.

SWAN: Team Nigeria's appalling performance at the Paris Olympics is unacceptable.

The performance of Team Nigeria in the 2024 Olympic Games has been characterized as significantly below expectations by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). Through the Secretary-General of the Association, Amb. Ikenna Okonkwo, SWAN President Mr. Isaiah Benjamin issued a statement stating that Nigeria's failure to return from the recently concluded Olympics with a medal was unacceptable. The Association blamed the country's enormous failure in Paris on administrative incompetence and ignorance, which became evident when the name of Favour Ofili, a highly regarded track and field athlete from Nigeria, was discovered to be missing from the list of competitors for the 100-meter event. After the Games, SWAN questioned why there were so many claims of medal hauls that administered by the sports authorities despite their full knowledge that nothing, not even the amount of preparation necessary to ensure a podium finish, was in place. Nigerians were led to believe that ev...
