Pastor Abel Damina reacts to Pastor Adeboye: "You are right, I am a mad man."

Pastor Abel Damina, a controversial pastor, has vehemently responded to comments made by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the current General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), in a recent sermon.

Dr. Abel Damina, noted for his unorthodox views, has repeatedly criticized Pastor Enoch Adeboye, particularly in YouTube videos. One of Damina's most prominent and incendiary criticisms of Adeboye came in response to a sermon in which Adeboye declared that Christians who do not pay their tithes will not enter heaven.

In a viral video, Abel Damina strongly disagreed with Adeboye's notion that tithing is required to enter heaven. In what appeared to be a direct response to Damina's accusations, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye recently presented a sermon in which he divided'mad people' into three categories, including apostles on sites such as YouTube.

SWAN: Team Nigeria's appalling performance at the Paris Olympics is unacceptable.

The performance of Team Nigeria in the 2024 Olympic Games has been characterized as significantly below expectations by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). Through the Secretary-General of the Association, Amb. Ikenna Okonkwo, SWAN President Mr. Isaiah Benjamin issued a statement stating that Nigeria's failure to return from the recently concluded Olympics with a medal was unacceptable. The Association blamed the country's enormous failure in Paris on administrative incompetence and ignorance, which became evident when the name of Favour Ofili, a highly regarded track and field athlete from Nigeria, was discovered to be missing from the list of competitors for the 100-meter event. After the Games, SWAN questioned why there were so many claims of medal hauls that administered by the sports authorities despite their full knowledge that nothing, not even the amount of preparation necessary to ensure a podium finish, was in place. Nigerians were led to believe that ev...
