Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder of the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Warri, Delta State, has shown his unwavering adherence to the concepts of love and forgiveness by declaring that he has pardoned the contentious social media activist known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).
Due to VDM's accusations against his church and actions on social media, Fufeyin filed a N1 billion lawsuit against the latter.
But on Sunday, Prophet Fufeyin said that he had forgiven VDM; this news went viral and attracted millions of online viewers.
"Very darkman, I, Jeremiah Fufeyin, the Prophet, pardon you. I'm dropping the lawsuit I had filed against you. I forgive you in accordance with Jesus' teachings, who advocated for peace and reprimanded sinners. I hope you Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin remarked, "My son, learn from your mistakes and walk in righteousness from this point forward."
This act of reconciliation was more than simply words; it was a profoundly symbolic occasion that demonstrated the Prophet's faith in the efficacy of atonement and the significance of mending past hurts.
The blowback from the prophet's lawsuit against social media influencer VDM has caused social media to erupt, with many speculating that the prophet's offer of an olive branch could settle the conflict.
