To commemorate Christmas, Boxing Day, and the New Year, the Federal Government has designated Wednesday, December 25, Thursday, December 26, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025, as public holidays.
In a statement signed by Magdalene Ajani, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Interior Minister Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo made this announcement on Monday.
Tunji-Ojo greeted Nigerians and urged them to embrace the love, peace, and unity that are the virtues of the season.
"Spiritual introspection and national rejuvenation are both beneficial during the Christmas season. Regardless of our differences, let us show love and goodwill to one another as we commemorate the birth of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, Tunji-Ojo remarked.
