Tiwa Savage: For a bigger reason, God postponed my success.

Afrobeats musician Tiwa Savage has opened out about her professional path, saying she feels that God purposefully postponed her fame for a bigger reason.

The 44-year-old musician revealed her wisdom in a recent episode of The Receipts podcast, saying that her success's timing was a part of a divine design.

Savage stated that she thinks it was deliberate to succeed in her thirties rather than her twenties and that the wait was actually a boon rather than a setback.

She clarified that God intended for this delay to uplift and support women who might be experiencing self-doubt or uncertainty about their future.

Tiwa believes that her narrative would act as a lighthouse of hope for young women, serving as a reminder that there is still time to fulfill their ambitions.

"I feel like God has done this on purpose," she remarked. God has a reason for delaying my success. I used to wonder why I hadn't achieved success in my twenties. In my twenties, I began to succeed.

"It's to bless others." It's for the benefit of that 25-year-old girl who fears what lies ahead. She would think, "I still have time," if she saw that I began in my forties when she opened my page.
