The Nigerian government announces two days as public holidays for Easter 2025.

Minister Tunji Ojo sends out heartfelt holiday greetings to all residents and wishes all      Christians a joyous Easter celebration. Report by Agency, April 16, 2025 Reading Time: one minute to read zero In order to allow Christians to celebrate Easter this year, the Federal Government has designated April 18 and 21 as public holidays. Magdalene Ajani, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, made this announcement in Abuja on Tuesday. According to Mrs. Ajani, the public holidays were intended to commemorate Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively. She acknowledged that Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of the Interior, had congratulated Christians nationwide on the wonderful Easter celebrations.
