President Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended Eid-el-Kabir prayers at the Dodan Barracks in Lagos State alongside top government officials and dignitaries. Tinubu urged Nigerians to embrace unity, compassion, and generosity, especially towards the vulnerable. He urged them to pray and give to those who are vulnerable, come together, and love everyone fully. The Chief Imam called on worshipers to live in peace and consider the needs of their neighbors, the poor, and vulnerable. In his message to mark the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Tinubu called on Nigerians to be patient with his administration's reforms, assuring that "the toughest days are behind us." He urged Nigerians not to lose hope and to hold onto their faith and persevere, as reforms are gaining traction and moving in a positive direction.
At the Dodan Barracks prayer ground in Lagos State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu joined Muslims in observing Eid-el-Kabir prayers on Friday. Femi Gbajabiamila, the president's chief of staff; Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the national security adviser; Muhammed Badaru Abubakar, the minister of defense; Adegboyega Oyetola, the minister of marine and blue economy; and Bello Muhammed Matawalle, the minister of state for defense, were among the prominent government officials and dignitaries who accompanied the president.
