At the university's 27th convocation ceremony for the 2022–2023 academic year, 153 students will get first-class degrees, according to Lagos State University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji–Bello. At the news conference for the 27th convocation ceremony held in the Senate Chamber of the school in Ojo, Lagos, Prof. Olatunji-Bello made the statement. According to the Vice Chancellor, there are more first-class degree candidates in the 2022–2023 academic year than there were at the preceding convocation in 2022. "Of the 8,670 students graduating from the University's first-degree programs, 153 received first-class degrees, 3029 received second-class upper division degrees, and 715 received second-class degrees," she stated 228 graduates in the class lower division will receive passes, while 195 will receive non-classified degrees.
